On a sunny March afternoon, I had the privilege of meeting up with Caroline and Alex to capture their downtown Birmingham engagement session before they get married next February in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Alex and Caroline met in Birmingham after she moved from Louisiana for a job opportunity. Their personalities are such a fun combination – they were cracking each other up the whole time! I love when I get to capture genuine laughter and affection as it really encapsulates the true dynamic of a couple.

Before the session, we discussed Caroline and Alex’s desires for their images and threw out location options. Wanting architectural elements to be highlighted, we landed on Linn Park in downtown Birmingham which offers natural beauty in the park while being surrounded by architecturally beautiful historical buildings.

We enjoyed the gorgeous spring evening talking and walking around as we captured their engagement photos! Alex and Caroline, I hope your engagement season is full of excitement and intention, and that your wedding day and start of your marriage are just as fun and warm as the two of you are!
